CHALLENGE

NYC Department of Corrections was being evicted from the space they were in and needed a new larger facility that could meet their demands. The site that was chosen was a site that had terrible soil and would require a large number of piles. The department’s needs required that the facility be built to prison grade and it needed to be completed in 12 months.

PROMONT APPROACH

Promont went to work with our means and methods, sub-contractors and engineers to make it happen. We delivered a beautiful, functional building designed and built to the department’s requirements and specs. We delivered the project on time. Coordination with the various agencies and dept’s within the Department of Correction was a difficult job, yet we executed it successfully.
