OBJECTIVE
The property was slated for a NYC family shelter consisting of 200 units at seven stories. We were challenged with a site with poor soil compaction. The sub terrain pile system initially designed was budgeted to cost $8.5 Million Dollars, which drove up the budget exponentially. Promont was able to use their expertise by redesigning the pile-system bringing the project to $3 Million Dollar; saving ownership $5 Million Dollars, ultimately saving the project. Under a rigid timeline, Promont was able to complete the entire superstructure to sign-off in 16 months.
