Latitude Compliance is excited to introduce our 2021 Research Team!

The Backstory

Two years ago, Promont began to piece together the importance of how building sustainability and climate change directly affect each other.
As NYC builders at our core, we have successfully mastered the ins-and outs of complex building; massive renovations and ground up construction alike. After LL97 was passed in 2019 we were met with confusion and fear. Aside from the outrageous penalties, it made us open our eyes to all the holes, cracks, leaks and the enormous amounts of existing “sick buildings” in NYC contributing to the disastrous affects of carbon emissions.

Latitude Compliance was founded by a team of professionals with backgrounds in New York City construction, property management, energy, design and expediting.

We understand the challenges building owners, landlords and real estate professionals will have to face in regards to energy education, tenant counseling, financing assistance, renovations and compliance.
On the other side of owner advocacy, we are also very passionate and devoted to making positive change to our climate crisis.

While we would love to tackle all 17 principles of the UNSDG goals, we know that our forte is in the industry of sustainable, resilient building planning and implementation. We are also very focused on clean-alternative energy innovations, technologies and solutions.

Since NYC is so densely populated, buildings equate to 67 percent of the cities emissions (ghg) and will affect over 50,000+ buildings in NYC. By reducing the amount of CO2 emissions in NYC buildings we will be part of the bigger plan for the 80/50 (80% reduction of emissions by 2050) result.

About our Research Team

As we began to grow, we saw the need to connect with leaders who are already making changes within their education so that we can constantly be informed about the current and future building environment.

It’s important for us to deliver all the information to our clients for a successful compliance, recognizing that we need to be at the forefront of LL97.  Latitude Compliance has taken the initiative to apply Sustainability Research straight into the building application for energy efficiency with the latest technologies, research, and legislation for regenerative energy and carbon capture sequestration methods. Our company steps forward into the headlights of a challenge- and in this case- to it’s leaders in solving the climate crisis.

Each member on our Research Team for Summer 2021 was carefully chosen. We recognize their individual talents, expertise, and passion for the future of a resilient net-zero built environment. It’s been an honor to work with young professionals who are already using their diverse educational backgrounds and interests to make a positive impact on their environment. They are the future leaders in the regenerative built and natural environment.
