CHALLENGE
This project presented numerous challenges being at the intersection of one of the busiest avenues in New York City. The site is directly across from the infamous Barclay Center, on an MTA zone and adjacent to two party walls. The first was to plan traffic management and coordinate with DOT on positioning cranes, boom and delivery trucks. The second was ensuring our excavation and piles were inspected and approved by MTA, which was a rigorous and time consuming process. The third was managing the neighboring party walls and easements, which became a complex matter delaying the project. Not to mention the 2020-COVID Pandemic shut-down affecting our work and scheduling.

PROMONT APPROACH
As we are 90% completed, it took unwavering and consistent dedication to the projects build-out and completion. All of our design and build teams worked together with the continued commitment to deliver a beautiful and sustainable building as per the clients vision.
